El Parrillero was born to bring the authentic Uruguayan asado experience to Lombardy: the fire, the finest beef and the conviviality of the Río de la Plata.

The fire & the tradition

Asado is part of Uruguayan culture. Its origins go back to the Gauchos, the skilled horsemen and herders of Uruguay's plains. Cooking meat over a wood fire has since been a symbol of identity — a tradition handed down through generations, which we keep alive every day. A rioplatense tradition shared with Argentina, where asado is part of the cultural heritage of both countries.

Our beef

We work only with the finest cuts: Premium Uruguayan Black Angus and Creekstone Farms USA Prime, up to Japanese A5 Wagyu. Cooked over a wood fire before your eyes and served with our house Chimichurri and Criolla sauces.
